Canvassing & Campaign Support
Barna Group reports that 60% of pastors identify helper shortages as a barrier to ministry growth, while modern donors increasingly demand transparency and measurable outcomes from their giving.
With approximately 330,000 Christian congregations in the U.S. facing outreach challenges, our Canvassing & Campaign Support program provides structured helper coordination that increases local participation by 25-30% based on national helpering data.
We link helpers and churches to coordinate community outreach through GPS-verified campaigns, print-on-demand materials, and standardized reporting that demonstrates tangible impact to supporters.
In short
The program addresses the gap between church outreach goals and operational capacity, creating sustainable campaigns through tiered participation fees and corporate sponsorships that align brand philanthropy with measurable community outcomes.
Younger donors now prioritize transparency in giving (Barna's State of Generosity 2024), making our documented approach essential for modern ministry effectiveness and donor retention.
The big idea
RCA’s Canvassing and Campaign Support Program is designed to help churches, nonprofits, and community-focused businesses move beyond digital outreach and connect with people where they live, work, and gather. This program combines creative design, trained Helpers, and on-the-ground coordination to make local outreach, awareness campaigns, and fundraising efforts more effective, professional, and accessible—especially for organizations without dedicated marketing or outreach teams.
How it works
At the core of the program is creation and preparation. Churches and organizations can work with artists through RCA’s Creative Arts Gallery or use ready-made templates to design flyers, posters, door hangers, postcards, and other outreach materials. These materials are produced through RCA’s print-on-demand services, ensuring high-quality, consistent messaging without requiring bulk printing or upfront inventory. Campaigns can be tailored for events, donation drives, community resources, voter or census awareness (where permitted), ministry launches, or neighborhood engagement initiatives.
Once materials are ready, RCA activates its trained Helper and Gig Network to carry out the canvassing effort. The approved printed materials are sent to Helpers who are then scheduled through the platform to distribute materials, staff tables, assist with sign-ups, or support outreach events to designated areas. For time-sensitive or location-based needs, gig workers and drivers handle same-day delivery of campaign materials to churches, canvassing teams, or event sites. All activity is coordinated through RCA’s system, with clear timelines, geographic targeting, and communication tools that keep organizers informed at every stage.

What's unique about the program
What sets RCA’s Canvassing and Campaign Support apart is its accountability and flexibility. Campaigns can be short-term or ongoing, fully volunteer-based or partially subsidized through RCA credits, vouchers, or donor-backed support. Churches and organizations can track participation, coverage areas, and outcomes, while Helpers build experience, ratings, and income through meaningful community work.
